Charles "Charlie" Willoughby
Charlie Leonard Willoughby, 71, Kearney, Mo., passed away April 29, 2013. Charlie was born May 21, 1941 to Harold Lester Willoughby Sr. and Mary Rosalie Williamson Willoughby. He married Marilyn Graham August 15, 1964. Charlie retired from Hallmark Cards. He was of the Mormon faith.
Mr. Willoughby is preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Darryl; daughter, Lori Coldren; wife, Patricia Willoughby; and five siblings, Harold L. Willoughby Jr., William L. Willoughby, Ann Willoughby, Gara Katherine Summers and David L. Willoughby.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marilyn of the home; grandchildren, Zack and wife, Heather Coldren and their children, Aiden, Peyton and Preston, and Chelsea and Andy Trout and their son, Austin.; son-in-law, Marty Coldren; three brothers, John and wife, Marilyn D., Andy and wife, Brenda, and Phil Willoughby.
Visitation for Mr. Willoughby will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday May 2, 2013 with the funeral service at 2 p.m. at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo. Burial will follow at Arley Cemetery also in Kearney, Mo. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
