Our Sincere Condolences

I will always remember Uncle Jerry as a kind and compassionate man. He was one of my favorite Uncles.
Dianne McGrath

My thoughts and prayers go out to my cousins, Barbara, and the rest of the extended family. I am sure he has touched each of your lives in a different and special way. Take comfort in the fact that he is with his Savior and without any more pain. He was a good Uncle to me when I was little. He will be missed.

Well, Jerry! Not looking to follow immediately but 1982 we made an appearance at Northern Hills too - SO-o-o- ? Anyway first member home we graced was at a party in your 'Plantation' type home. You and Dorothy started us out right. Then through the years have experienced life with you always upbeat. Then along came Barb and the experience just always in same vein and has been a pleasure knowing and loving ALL of you! Until later!!

It is with great sadness to learn of your Father's Passing on to God's world. I remember when you all moved back to Iowa just down the road from us and then I got drafted and left home to the U.S. Air Force not too see any of you until I came home on leave and not being around you anymore. Those are the memories stuck into my head. Your Father was such a gentle kind man that I have known all my life. I am glad I got to see him last year at my own Mom's passing. Godspeed to you Jerry in God's country. You have achieved the highest honor there is in the land to be with God Jesus Christ our savior.
I will be there too see you and say my goodbyes in person Saturday.
Again GodSpeed to you.

My deepest condolences to Barbara and family on the loss of Jerry. I'll always remember him with that beautiful smile. Just lost my husband last month so I appreciate your feelings at this time. Sorry, I can't visit with my cousin again.

Barbara and Tracy,
What an honor it was to know and care for Jerry during the final chapter of his life. God is such an awesome God and allowing me to meet your family. Jerry was a very special man. Thank you for the opportunity. May our Master Physician lift you up and carry you through the difficult days ahead.
In The Healing Christ,
Linda

The girls & I are sad to hear of your loss this evening. We know you are each resting in the fact that Grandpa Jerry is now at peace with our Heavenly Father. We talked this evenimg about different memories. One we each enjoyed with him was simple really ~ early in the mornings we would all eat together - he would cook and we would watch the animals through the windows. Thankful for those moments. Tracy can you imagine your dad standing next to the first carpenter! The questions your dad might have about the mansion he had prepared for him? (Like how a certain turn was made on a step?)
Please know we are thinking about each of you at this time.
I can only imagine what kind of carpentry work he must be doing standing next to one of the first carpenters. Tracy your daddy smiling as he says well done good and faithful servant. Please know all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Tracy, Troy, Toby and Timmy,
So sorry to hear of your loss but rejoice in knowing that your dad will forever be at the feet of Jesus. Not sure if you guys remember but your parents took in my little brother, Brian, when our house burnt down in Collins. I am sure my parents were so grateful and Brian loved it at your house. Your parents were awesome people!
Hugs,
Terry Norman (Hugen)

To Barb and Jerry's children,
So sorry for your loss. Jerry always called me his "kissing cousin" and I was never hesitant to kiss him in spite of that wonderful mustache. I will miss his good humor and the loss of another one of my generation. God's blessings on all of you.

So sorry for your loss. Jerry and I spoke at length, at the last Collins Alumni Banquet that I attended. I really enjoyed our visit.
Sincerely, Dick
