Donald "Ritchie" Moberly
Ritchie Moberly, 75, Liberty, Mo., passed away July 15, 2014.
Ritchie was born February 7, 1939 to Raymond and Mary Ethel Moberly in Mosby, Mo. He spent most of his life as a cattle farmer, most recently in Polo, Mo. Ritchie had a love for horses, breeding, raising and showing Champion Missouri Fox Trotters. He was a partner in the MB&L commission firm at the KC Stock Yards, commission man for Kingsville Livestock Auction, and served on the board of directors for Farmers Home Insurance Company in Richmond, Mo. He was also an avid sports fan, he enjoyed the Missouri Tigers and had been a Kansas City Chiefs season ticket holder for 42 years. Most of all Ritchie loved his family and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Lola; sons, Donnie (Liz) and Dan Moberly; brothers, Ron and Rodger Moberly; grandchildren, Elijah, Corey, Grant, Cole, Claire Moberly and Kirsten Poole.
Join us for a celebration of his life at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014 with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. prior at Kearney First Baptist Church, 303 S. Grove. The family suggests memorial contributions to the church.
