Frank M. Korosac Jr.
Frank M. Korosac Jr., 64, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Frank was born the son of Frank Sr. and Frances (Cichacki) Korosac, on September 9, 1949, in Kansas City, Kans.
Frank was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked many years for Associated Wholesale Grocers. Frank served as Platte County Road Commissioner. He was very active in his church and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Loretta Kewi.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Sharon; his children, Thomas (Danielle) Korosac, Julie (Joe) Bondank, Steven (Denise) Stamper, Douglas (Joleta) Leach; sisters, Krissteen Davis, Sondra (John) Lauro, Nancy (Larry) McMillan, and Veronica (Mark) Turner; grandchildren, Hayley and Simon Bondank, Myah and Travis Stamper, Selah, Aden, Elijah, Cohen, and Amelia Leach, and Drew Korosac; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2014 with services immediately following at St. Matthews Evangelical Church, 5047 NW Gateway Ave., Riverside, Mo. Burial will follow at East Slope cemetery. The family suggest, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the church.
