Susan E. Hearne
Susan E. Hearne, 67, of Kearney, Mo., passed away August 18, 2014 at her home after her battle with cancer.
Susan was born January 28, 1947 in San Diego, Calif., the daughter of Marion (Doc) Botu and Lois Titlow Botu. She married Jerry Hearne on August 21, 1965. He survives. Sue and Jerry had five children, James Hearne (Ronda), Christopher Hearne, Bobby Lee Hearne, Rhonda Truby (Shawn), and Mary Joyce. She was also a foster mother for more than 20 years to numerous children. She loved flower and vegetable gardening, sewing and painting.
Susan is survived by her husband, father and children. Also surviving are her brother, Jack Botu (Leslie); sister, Marlo Chavez (Reuban); and grandchildren, Kyle, Janel, Ross, and Abby.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23, at 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Kearney, immediately followed by a gathering of friends and family at the church. The body has been cremated. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Liberty Women’s Clinic, 11 North Gallatin, Liberty, MO 64068.
